A distinguished business and healthcare consultant, Robert Baker-Hargrove commenced his career by earning a Bachelor of Science in textile sciences from The University of Texas at Austin in 1993. He later achieved a Master of Business Administration at Webster University in 2000. In the early stages of his career, he joined the Walt Disney Company in 1994. Throughout his 24-year tenure with the company, he worked in various positions, including performer, stage manager, choreographer and production manager. He subsequently spent two years as a resource manager of production, followed by one year as a producer and three years as the proprietor of entertainment operations from 2015 to 2018.

As his career progressed, Mr. Baker-Hargrove sought to become involved in the nonprofit sector, where he could pursue growth and opportunities while making a positive impact on the LGBTQIA+ community. Alongside the leadership of his spouse, Dr. David Baker-Hargrove, he became the co-founder, co-chief executive officer and chief operations officer of 26Health in Orlando in 2018. The nonprofit has since expanded its telehealth services to 45 U.S. states and Puerto Rico, providing the community with access to healthcare tailored to their needs. 26Health was honored as Nonprofit of the Year for its invaluable contributions following the shooting at Pulse nightclub in Orlando in 2016 and was nominated for an Eagle Award by the African American Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Baker-Hargrove stepped down from his roles at 26Health in 2022 and continues his service as a business and healthcare consultant.

Most recently, Mr. Baker-Hargrove assumed the role of interim chief executive officer and full-time chief operating officer at Our Family Health Inc. (OFH), a community-focused healthcare organization in Central Florida that provides accessible, high-quality and compassionate healthcare regardless of a patient’s background or insurance status. The organization also offers primary and family care, behavioral health, pharmacy services, telehealth, and community outreach and testing, offering its services in both English and Spanish and on a sliding-scale basis.

Among his numerous achievements, Mr. Baker-Hargrove is honored to have received the Orlando Business Journal’s Diversity in Business Award in 2022. Looking ahead, he envisions himself as a community leader taking on speaking engagements and contributing to the ongoing expansion and innovation in healthcare delivery.
